VINTAGE DUNGEONS & DRAGONS – COLLECTION OF 3 BOXED GAMES & ACCESSORIES – TSR – 1990s
A fantastic collection of three original vintage Dungeons & Dragons boxed games and accessories, produced by TSR during the early 1990s.
An excellent opportunity for collectors of vintage D&D, Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, fantasy role-playing games and classic TSR memorabilia.
All three sets appear to be in fantastic condition for their age, with an impressive selection of original contents, including rulebooks, playing pieces, maps, character figures and accessories.
All three appear substantially complete, although I cannot guarantee that every original component is present.
1. DUNGEONS & DRAGONS – THE NEW EASY TO MASTER GAME (1991)
TSR Product Code: 1070
The iconic Dungeons & Dragons Black Box edition, featuring the spectacular red dragon cover artwork.
Originally released in 1991, this edition was designed to introduce new players to the world of Dungeons & Dragons.
A highly recognisable and increasingly collectable edition of the legendary fantasy role-playing game.
Contents photographed include:
* Original illustrated Black Box.
* Original folding Dungeon Master’s reference screen.
* Large selection of original cardboard character and monster figures.
* Original printed gaming materials and paperwork.
* Additional contents within the box.
The cardboard figures include various fantasy characters and monsters such as zombies, guards, green slimes and other creatures.
The original Dungeon Master’s screen is particularly attractive, featuring numerous printed reference tables for gameplay.
Condition: Contents appear very well preserved, with the cardboard figures and reference screen in excellent condition. The outer box displays some age-related edge and corner wear, scuffing and general storage marks.
2. DUNGEONS & DRAGONS – THE ADVENTURE GAME
The Adventure Begins Here!
An original TSR Dungeons & Dragons introductory adventure game, featuring colourful fantasy artwork depicting warriors, monsters and a dragon.
Designed to introduce players to the exciting world of fantasy role-playing, dungeon exploration, monsters and magical adventures.
Contents photographed include:
* Original illustrated box.
* Rulebook.
* Printed dungeon floor plans and gaming boards.
* Illustrated character and monster counters.
* Additional original gaming components.
The photographs show an excellent selection of printed dungeon tiles and counters, many of which appear to be in particularly good condition.
Condition: Fantastic overall vintage condition, with the box retaining bright, attractive artwork. Minor age-related storage wear may be present.
3. ADVANCED DUNGEONS & DRAGONS 2ND EDITION – CASTLES
TSR Product Code: 1056
A 3-Dimensional Game Accessory
An original vintage Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition Castles accessory set.
This fascinating TSR release allows players to construct elaborate three-dimensional fantasy castles for use during their Dungeons & Dragons adventures.
The original packaging advertises:
“Featuring Three Full-Color Posters and a Complete Fold-Up Castle!”
The set contains numerous beautifully illustrated cardboard construction pieces, including:
* Stone castle walls.
* Towers and battlements.
* Roof sections.
* Doors and windows.
* Various architectural sections.
* Additional castle construction components.
The castle pieces feature detailed printed stonework and medieval architectural designs.
Many of the sections have previously been removed from their original sheets and some have been folded or assembled.
Condition: Excellent overall vintage condition. The original box retains its colourful artwork, with some minor storage wear. The castle components appear well preserved, although I have not attempted to assemble the complete structure or individually check every piece.

OVERALL CONDITION
All three sets are in fantastic condition considering their age.
The original boxes display varying degrees of age-related wear, including some scuffing, creasing and rubbing to edges and corners.
The contents generally appear exceptionally well looked after, with many components showing very little evidence of use.
The collection has clearly been carefully stored over the years.
IMPORTANT – COMPLETENESS
All three sets appear to contain a substantial quantity of their original components and look to be complete or very close to complete.
However, due to the large number of individual playing pieces, cards, counters, printed materials and construction components, I have not individually counted or checked every item against the original manufacturers’ contents lists.
I therefore cannot guarantee that absolutely every original component is included.
Please study all photographs carefully, as these form an important part of the description and show the actual items being offered.
A FANTASTIC VINTAGE D&D COLLECTION
An increasingly difficult collection of original TSR-era Dungeons & Dragons games and accessories to find together in such attractive condition.
Perfect for:
* Vintage Dungeons & Dragons collectors.
* Advanced D&D enthusiasts.
* TSR memorabilia collectors.
* Fantasy role-playing game enthusiasts.
* Retro tabletop gaming collections.
* Display or nostalgic gaming.
All three original boxed sets are being sold together as one job lot.
An excellent addition to any vintage fantasy gaming collection.
Please see photographs for full details of condition and contents.
