Pattern 5590 gives you three looks from one envelope: a button-front jumpsuit with a wrap sash and gathered, bloomer-style legs (View 1), a pullover sundress with a full skirt (View 2), and a tapered-leg jumpsuit with a drawstring waist and side seam pockets (View 3). All three have slim shoulder straps and an elasticized waistline. It is a lovely pick for anyone who sews vintage-inspired summer wear in cotton broadcloth, chambray, batik, chintz or soft linen. This is Misses' size 12 (bust 34, waist 26½, hip 36). The envelope still carries its original TG&Y store price sticker, a charming bit of retail history.

The back has a white 'Simplicity Today' catalog flap attached over part of the sizing chart, so the right edge of the back text is partly covered. The paper instruction sheet and the folded tissue pattern pieces are shown in the photos, with some creasing and toning from age. The pieces look to be in their original folds, but I have not counted them against the 21 pieces listed on the envelope. Pattern is for Misses' size 12.
