Installation Steps of Cooling Fan:
Cut off the power and disconnect the car battery to avoid electric hazards.
Dismount the damaged old fan, brackets and connecting wires.
Position the new cooling fan and fasten it tightly with bolts.
Plug in the wiring harness and check all connections for firmness.
Reconnect the battery, start the vehicle and test the fan function.
Working Principle of Cooling Fan:
The temperature sensor detects engine/coolant temperature and sends signals to the control unit.
When temperature rises to the set value, the control unit activates the relay.
Power is supplied to the fan motor, driving blades to rotate.
Flowing air passes through the radiator to dissipate heat from coolant.
Temperature drops to normal range, then the fan stops automatically.
Common faults of cooling fan (5 main types):
No rotation: Fan fails to start due to blown fuse, damaged motor or faulty relay.
Abnormal noise: Loose parts, worn bearings or foreign objects inside the fan.
Slow speed: Aging motor or poor circuit contact leads to insufficient rotation speed.
Intermittent work: Loose wiring harness or defective temperature sensor causes unstable operation.
Overheating easily: Fan runs continuously or stops working, resulting in engine overheating.
