This is a really super antique meerschaum cheroot holder. The carving is exquisite and depicts a bearded and booted, seated huntsman blowing a horn, held in his left hand, with his hound sat in front and holding a staff or whip in his right hand.

The detailing is absolutely fabulous.

This lovely holder has had some restoration work. The poor chap has lost his horn at some stage, this has been restored, and the original amber stem is lost and has been replaced with a vintage example, please do look carefully at the images. This said it's a fantastic example of an antique craftsman's work.

There is a white metal collar with various marks, removeable holder is present and the airways are free and clear.

The overall length of this piece measures about 6 1/8", say 155mm

This is a brilliant example of a meerschaum cheroot holder that would enhance any collection.

More pipes and holders already listed and a load more to come, keep watching!

This piece is sold as seen so do please look carefully at the images and read the description before you bid.
