Hey You, Pikachu! — Nintendo 64 OEM VRU + Microphone Bundle

Talk to Pikachu the way Nintendo originally intended with this authentic North American Hey You, Pikachu! Nintendo 64 setup.

Included is the original game cartridge, authentic Nintendo Voice Recognition Unit (VRU) model NUS-020 (USA), OEM microphone, and a new replacement yellow foam windscreen sized to closely match the original.

The VRU and microphone have been fully tested and confirmed working, with gameplay/testing photos provided.

Item Condition, Authenticity & Transparency

This set is in very good overall condition for its age and presents exceptionally well.

The cartridge shell and label are very clean with only minimal signs of prior handling. The VRU and microphone are similarly clean and well preserved. Photos include the cartridge PCB, Nintendo factory markings/stamps, rear label, hardware model information, and live gameplay/testing to document authenticity and functionality.

What you see is exactly what you get—the exact item pictured is the actual item you will receive.

A new replacement yellow foam windscreen is also included that had slits along its edges. Those areas were carefully bonded using a high-grade foam-safe adhesive specifically intended for foam materials. Because of the repair, the seams may feel slightly firmer to the touch than the surrounding foam. The repair is disclosed clearly for collector transparency. It measures approximately 1.5 inches in diameter, closely matching the dimensions and appearance of the original.
