A highly attractive Art Nouveau glass centrepiece by the Meriden Britannia Company, featuring a beautifully designed silver-plated stand supporting a striking two-tone glass bowl. The stand is richly detailed with a flowing tulip-form handle, elegant scroll-worked feet, and classic Art Nouveau styling throughout.
The removable glass bowl is finely fluted with a waved rim, combining milk glass and deep red tones, creating a wonderful visual contrast and strong period presence. A superb decorative piece, ideal as a table centre or cabinet display.
The base is clearly stamped Meriden Britannia Co, Canada, with Pattern No. 0179, as shown.
