MINT (you won't find this here)
As perfect as it gets. A Mint poster has no flaws at all: no handling marks, no edge wear, no creases, and no fingerprints. This grade is rarely used and usually only applies to posters that have never been handled, often straight from the distributor. For rolled posters, even the tiniest issue knocks it out of Mint.

NEAR MINT
Looks almost brand new. There might be the slightest hint of handling, like a tiny pinhole in each corner or very faint edge wear: but you?ll have to look closely to notice anything.

VERY FINE
Lightly used and still in great shape. You might see small pinholes, minor edge wear, or light creasing, but nothing that takes away from the overall look.

FINE
Shows normal signs of use, but still well looked after. Expect a bit of edge wear, light creasing, or small pinholes. Still a solid, displayable poster.

VERY GOOD?FINE
An average used poster with some visible wear. This can include things like light fold wear, a few tape marks, multiple pinholes, minor creases, or small bits of paper loss around the edges.

VERY GOOD
Clearly used, but still looks decent. You may see small tears, fold separation, some browning from age, or minor marks showing through from the back.

GOOD
Heavily used. Expect noticeable flaws like tears, lots of pinholes, tape, fading, and general wear.

FAIR
Very worn with obvious damage, often affecting the image. This level usually needs restoration to look good again.

POOR
Rough condition. Significant damage, and mainly useful as a filler copy or for restoration work.
Severely damaged.
