I bring to your attention this rare vintage Swiss collectible: an amazing Military Flieger Style WWII men's wristwatch ZIM LACO AVIATOR analogue wristwatches, German Army, Luftwaffe Pilots, 1939-1945 WWII. This watch has an analogue French LIP movement. In 1933-1939, the factory named Maslenikov, under the French firm LIP, mastered watch production (3 rd in the country), growing to 2, 5 million wristwatches a year. During the Great Patriotic War, in the WINTERS, a short period saw the production of shells for the volley- fire reactive systems «Katyusha». At the same time, the production of live ammunition for all branches of the troops grew. For exemplary implementation of government tasks in 1942, the factory was awarded the Red Labour Order. A large group of managers, designers, workers, and office workers received high governmental rewards. In recent years, the state industrial enterprise of the «WINTERS» gradually rolled up military production and passed to the issue of civil products. Already in 1946, the factory produced more than 46 thousand pocket clocks. In 1947, ZIM charged a fuel apparatus for the Leningrad tractor of «Кировец- Д 35». An experimental batch of alarm clocks appeared that year. From 1949, a factory developed avtodoilku «Volga». In 1950, the first wristwatches of «ZIM- POBEDA» were allowed for sale. Also among the products of the factory are photos- breech- blocks. In the 1960 s, a large- scale reconstruction began at the plant. Etc.

The refinished dial is in excellent condition, professionally restored, and beautifully done. On the dial, the hour markers are luminous (luminous in the dark). The watch dome glass is made of plastic (Plexiglass). The watch has been restored, checked, and calibrated by a master watchmaker and is in good running condition.
