This reel is the 1st version of this reel with Garcia's involvement. Only "Mitchell Cap" is engraved on the faceplate, and the Garcia sticker is on the backside of the reel head. The reel was made sometime in 1954-1955.
The reel is in very good to excellent aesthetic condition (with a couple of scrapes on the edges of the bottom of the reel and some paint flakes on the bottom of the reel foot) and everything else works mechanically as it should.
