A beautifully made traditional Japanese cast iron teapot with the classic textured arare-style surface, black finish and folding metal handle.

This example is unused and comes complete with its original box, stainless-steel infuser basket, cast iron lid, handle, tissue wrapping and Japanese instruction leaflet.

The underside is marked Made in Japan, and the original box is labelled E-110S.

The teapot has been stored in its original packaging and has not been used for brewing.

The cast iron body, lid and handle present extremely well, and the stainless-steel infuser is clean and unused.

The original cardboard box is included and shows some age-related storage wear, including light creasing, edge wear and minor crushing in places. The original Japanese instruction leaflet is also present.
