Experience the smooth precision of this vintage Shakespeare Wondercast No. 1797 "Model DK." This high-quality underspin reel combines the classic hang of a spinning reel with the effortless push-button casting of a spincast. This particular example has been carefully cleaned and mechanically verified, making it a standout addition for any serious angler or vintage tackle collector.

• Full Functionality: The trigger lever releases cleanly and the "Micro-Drag" system is fully intact with a crisp audible click. The level-wind mechanism operates smoothly throughout the retrieve.

• Premium Presentation: Includes the original vintage box with vibrant graphics and period-correct marketing. The reel itself has been lightly detailed, revealing clean silver-tone plates and a well-maintained black drag ring.

• American Craftsmanship: Stamped "Made in USA," this reel is part of the era when Shakespeare's gear was "Built Like a Fine Watch."
