This is an OFFICIAL 1994 ALL STAR GAME Baseball signed by signed by Baseball Hall of Famer, 15x All Star, 1982 World Series Champion, 1985 NLCS MVP,  member of the Cardinals Hall of Fame and former Padres and Cardinals shortstop OZZIE SMITH in black pen.  He added his jersey number "#1" above his name.  The signature rates a 9/10.  The ball itself is lightly to moderately toned throughout.  Please look at pictures for further detail.  I am happy to send/post more pictures upon request, if needed.

DID YOU KNOW?  In 1985, facing Los Angeles in the NLCS, a split of the first four games set the stage for Game 5 at Busch Stadium. With the score tied at two runs apiece in the bottom of the ninth inning, Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda called upon closer Tom Niedenfuer to pitch. Smith batted left-handed against Niedenfuer with one out. Smith, who had never hit a home run in his previous 2,967 left-handed major league at-bats, pulled an inside fastball down the right-field line for a walk-off home run, ending Game 5 in a 3–2 Cardinals victory. Smith said, "I was trying to get an extra-base hit and get into scoring position. Fortunately, I was able to get the ball up." The home run not only prompted broadcaster Jack Buck's "Go crazy folks" play-by-play call, but was also later voted the greatest moment in Busch Stadium history by Cardinals fans.

This ball comes with a JSA COA card and sticker affixed to the ball.

This ball was originally purchased through a reputable auction house and I will GUARANTEE THE AUTHENTICITY of the signature with a FULL money back promise if PSA or JSA happens to think otherwise.  I have been collecting, buying and selling baseball autographs for close to 40 years and am considered an expert in the field.  Take a look at the photos, consider my 100% POSITIVE feedback and BID WITH CONFIDENCE.  Please also take a look at my other auctions for more great signed baseballs!

I price ALL of my baseballs to SELL...usually lower priced than all other comparable balls on eBay at the time of listing (seriously...check it out!).  I do list with a "Best Offer" option as again, I am here to SELL these balls, even though I feel my initial pricing is fair.  If you have a reasonable amount in mind, please send an offer.  Worst thing that could happen is for me to decline the offer.  If I counter the offer, it means we're close...let's work together to make it happen.  Thanks for looking!  Brandon
