Up for auction/sale is a beautiful vintage Victorian Eastlake Style Doorknob and Backplate Passage Set manufactured by the renowned AABCO (Anglo American Brass Company).

AABCO was highly regarded for creating premium, heavy-weight architectural reproductions using lost-wax casting methods molded directly from late 19th-century originals. These pieces feature the signature, incredibly crisp aesthetic geometric and floral details typical of the 1880s Eastlake movement.

• (1) Threaded Central Spindle with matching square-aperture rosettes/washers

Condition Details:

This set is in excellent vintage condition with a wonderful, authentic aged patina. The brass shows natural surface oxidation and darkening in the recessed details, beautifully accentuating the ornate relief patterns. There are no cracks, heavy structural damage, or major defects. The components are solid, heavy, and ready for installation.

The spindle rod is already attached to the doorknob with the set screw also in place.
