Antique late-Victorian or Edwardian souvenir glass
paperweight depicting an image of the north-west face of Winchester Cathedral,
Hampshire. A dome of glass, with
transfer printed image and a leatherette backing. It measures approx. 5cm in diameter and
weighs 120g. In good overall condition,
free from chips – some of the leatherette backing has peeled and there are some
minor wear points to the transfer image when viewed from a certain angle. The glass has some surface scratching and
scuff marking.
