An original vintage De Reszke Virginia Cigarettes advertising tin, manufactured for J. Millhoff & Co Ltd of Piccadilly, London.
The rectangular hinged tin features a cream-coloured background, green borders and embossed gold-coloured lettering bearing the slogan 'The Aristocrat of Cigarettes'.
Condition
Vintage used condition, with moderate to heavy signs of age and use.
Numerous scratches, scuffs and surface marks throughout.
Considerable wear to the original painted finish, particularly around the edges.
Areas of discolouration and tarnishing.
Some rubbing and loss of detail to the embossed lettering.
Interior shows substantial surface scratching and wear.
