Up for sale is a Vintage Wonders of the Waring Blendor Cook Book! This instruction and recipe advertising booklet was published circa 1960 by the Waring Products Corporation in Winsted, Connecticut for use with their Waring Blendor. It is a 144 page softcover cookbook measuring about 8” x 5⅜”. The cookbook features many recipes and has several b&w photos and illustrations inside. It includes recipes for Dips, Spreads, Butters, Soups, Cheese and Egg Dishes, Hot Main Dishes, Main Dishes or Hot Weather Menus and Molded Salads, Salad Dressings, International Menus and Recipes, A Hawaiian Feast, Vegetables, Mayonnaise, Sauces, Preserves, Hot Breads, Cakes Cookies Fillings and Frostings, Desserts and Dessert Sauces, Beverages, and an index. As shown in the photos, the cookbook is in good condition for its age with some cover wear and soiling, including a round red sticker on its front. The booklet is complete and remains stapled to its centerfold, but the cover is detached. It has generally clean pages with a few creases and no rips or tears. There are some edge and spot stains, shadowing from a newspaper recipe (included) as shown, and notes in pencil on one recipe (with no other writing inside). This vintage Waring Blendor Cook Book would make a great addition to your collection!
