🛑A very special battle of Forrest and his men. Sulphur Creek Trestle was the longest trestle works between Decatur Alabama and Nashville Tennessee.

After repeated pleas to the Union commanders to surrender or face a horrific artillery shelling of the works.

After Forrest sent Aprox. 900 shells into the fort, killing many men and setting the works on fire, he sent a few Yankees away under parole and continued causing havoc on the rail lines.

📍These are a mix of Union & Confederate relics. These were dug by me in 1979

I have permission from the person who owned the property and my son and I had a wonderful time digging.

▪️Guaranteed 100% authenticity and from where stated. I always kept good records of my finds, relics were bagged & tagged as to where found. Provenance guaranteed from person who dug this.

♾️ Please View photos carefully. I’ve tried to photo as clearly as possible so there will be no mistakes as to your purchase. The photos will explain more than I can describe. I’ve tried to capture true color using natural light and/or flash.

*️⃣ I’ll package securely-will ship promptly & furnish a tracking number.

Please add $11.00 insured postage

* ❌The Post Office raised their shipping rates AGAIN, with no warnings. Get mad at them, not me. 🔹🔺I will be happy to combine shipping cost for multiple auction winners. USPS has become so costly and greedy for single item shipments, thats it’s smart to consider multiple item purchases to save postage cost whenever it’s possible for you.

🔸 I only charge actual cost, no markups on postage from me.

▪️If youre not satisfied or pleased, send it back for a refund of purchase price (less postage). i just want everyone satisfied.

🔶 THANK YOU FOR VIEWING MY AUCTION. I HOPE YOU FIND SOMETHING YOU ENJOY.
