Striking vintage ceramic sculpture by noted Sardinian artist Emilia Palomba (1929–2020). The stylized seated woman wears traditional Sardinian dress and holds a round platter with incised spiral decoration.
Hand-built from reddish clay with a creamy white glaze and brown accents. Signed on the underside with Palomba’s distinctive “EP” monogram. A wonderfully expressive example of mid-century Italian figurative ceramics.
