This is a Black & Decker HP12KX drill/ driver. I have had this for many years & for many years it has just been sitting on a shelf.

PLEASE read this carefully- The drill does not come with the original charger which has been misplaced. The drill does not come with any drill bits but there is a screwdriver attachment which clips onto the side of the drill (see image). The drill comes with a small 3rd party charger which seems to work (see charging lights on images). The drill comes with a hard plastic case. The drill comes with two batteries. The first battery is the original black and decker battery and this battery is dead. The second battery is a 3rd party battery and it holds a little charge for a very short duration of time. This battery could die within minutes of use, even less. When using this 3rd party battery, the drill seems to be underpowered. The drill is only a 12V drill with a torque of 17NM so it’s not a powerful drill anyway but with the 3rd party battery, I am not getting a whole lot of power. But as you can see from the video, there is some power from the 3rd party battery. Can these batteries be revived? I am not sure but there are numerous videos on YouTube showing that some of these batteries can be revived. The batteries do seem to charge using the 3rd party charger and the charging light on the charger turns green indicating the battery has been fully charged. But still the original battery remains dead & the 3rd party battery dies very quickly. I am sure with a new battery, this may be a handy drill for drilling small holes or using the screwdriver part. If you have the knowledge of how to revive these batteries, you could also have some spare batteries to use. Generally I would say the drill is in good condition and for its age, it has not been over used. Just a pity there are issues with the batteries which you may know how to fix.
