Striking unsigned hand-blown studio art glass vase in a rich smoky plum/amethyst color.

This sculptural piece features a dramatic wide ruffled rim, organic free-form body and multiple applied glass ribbons/feet around the base. The glass varies beautifully in tone and transparency, becoming darker toward the lower portion and along the irregular edges.

The deliberately uneven rim and individually applied elements give the piece a wonderful one-of-a-kind studio glass character. An impressive decorative piece displayed empty or with flowers.

Excellent condition with no chips or cracks observed. Natural variations and irregularities are consistent with handmade art glass.
