Here's a lot of five vintage potentiometers that are most unusual, in that the SPST switch operates the exact opposite of normal. In other words, when the shaft is rotated fully CCW the switch is "on" rather than open. This is the reverse of what one would expect. Why it was done this way I haven't a clue. Now, I can think of a possible use for them, and that's in building a custom Hi-Z audio mixer with a "cue" function that is enabled when the pot is clicked "off." This would mimic the old rotary-control broadcast consoles of yesteryear.

Anyway, the five potentiometers are offered for whatever purpose you might come up with. These use the standard mounting nut (not supplied) and have a bushing length of 1/4" with the shaft extending out another 7/8". Switch operation has been checked and the resistive elements all measure within 10% of 1 megohm. Note that you'll need to clean the light oxidation from the terminals before soldering to them, as they're circa 1964.
