This Small likely Flame Mahogany or Rosewood Sarcophagus Shaped Tea Caddy is a unique and stylish addition to any tea lover's collection. Made from high-quality wood, with the correct key (which is not included) this lockable tea caddy exudes a sense of elegance and sophistication. It is likely dating from the Late Georgian Regency (1811-20) or Early Victorian Period (1820-50). typical of the Late Georgian Regency Period circa Victorian era. With its intricate design and antique charm, this original piece from the United Kingdom is sure to be a talking point in any home. Perfect for storing and displaying your precious tea, this tea caddy adds a touch of history and class to any room.
The lid has a matching cartouche edged with split turned banding which enhances the sarcophagus shape and used of high quality flame veneers. The Lock is access via a shield shaped Brass escutcheon, unfortunately we do not have the key to test the lock.
Measurements are-22.5cm wide13cm deep and sits 14cm high on four turned bun feet This lovely original tea caddy is perfect for those who appreciate antique pieces and traditional design, being both stylish and practical, making it a wonderful addition to any home, and will adorn any room in your home.
