DESCRIPTION
This is a very gently used, hard-to-find, one owner Tama StarClassic 7" deep x14" diameter Bubinga/Birch snare drum that recently came into our shop on trade. This drum (badge number 088791) features a beautiful Gloss White Oak outer ply, 4 middle plies of birch, and 2 inner plies of bubinga (7 plies total) giving it a crisp attack, lots of low end, and a wide tuning range. It also features diecast hoops, chrome hardware, and upgraded 15-strand Grover snare wires.

The bearing edges are like new, the interior is spotless, and except for a fingerprint or fleck of dust here and there, this drum looks like it was rarely handled or played. There are absolutely no notable dings or scratches. Current heads are gently used Evans coated Genera HD and a Snare Side 300. There are a few very minor stick marks on the batter head. Other than heads and wires, the drum appears to be all original. The interior label reads "Starclassic, A division of Tama drums, Handcrafted in China" with the date code of "14I" in the upper right corner, which indicates that this snare was manufactured in September of 2014
