ORIGINAL GEORGE MORAN (b 1942) 'YOLKS BEING PLACED' EGGS INK & WATERCOLOR ILLUSTRATION FROM HIS 1975 BOOK 'EGGS'

This is a wonderful original. This is one of two original George Moran illustrations from his cult classic and world famous books about eggs.  I have known of the book since I was a young child and always thought they were outstanding and was very excited to acquire some of his original works. For those not familiar with the artist, I have included his biography below.  This one is actually on the artist's website as having been published in the very first book he did in 1975.  A very cool view of a worker adding the yolks to the eggs on a sort of assembly line.  Ink and watercolor on paper measuring 4 1/4 x 9 inches.  Signed and dated in ink lower right.  Illustration is against a color paper background and in a simple silver metal frame.  Really, it should be put in a much nicer matte and frame.  Really a classic and rare original work.  If you collect the artist or works like this, check my store for the other I am offering.  A great chance to acquire some very rare originals by the artist.  Frame measures 12 x 15 inches.   FREE SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES!

For those not familiar with the artist, his biography from askart reads: "George Moran was born in 1942, in Fall River, Massachusetts. He went to school at the College of the Holy Cross, AB in 1964. He also attended the Art Student's League in NYC in 1964. Additionally, the artist attended New York University Graduate School of the Fine Arts in 1964. He is an author, co-author and illustrator for a series of books, magazines and newspapers. He studied painting with Henry Hensche in Provincetown, MA. He continued selling on the street in NYC."
