Jamie Reid launched the radical Suburban Press collective in 1970, running it for about five years. During this time, he used the press to develop his signature "ransom-note" typography and guerilla-style political stickers to protest consumerism, conformity, and government propaganda during the three-day weeks and miner strikes.
