Product Description
This stunning piece features a traditional hand-painted artwork of "Ayu" (Sweetfish) swimming gracefully in a clear, cool stream beneath lush green foliage. In Japan, Ayu is celebrated as the "Queen of Clear Streams" and represents the refreshing essence of early summer.
The scroll bears the authentic signature and red seal (落款) of the artist "Unsen" (雲仙). It features beautiful porcelain scroll ends (軸先) with blue-and-white floral patterns and comes preserved inside its original outer wooden box with handwritten calligraphy titles on the lid.
