Short description of the lens

I bring to your attention a rare vintage USSR Russian collectible, photographic Portrait Lens Jupiter-9 f2/85mm. The Jupiter-9 is a copy of the pre-war Carl Zeiss Sonnar 85mm f/2, and perhaps that's the reason why this lens has such an outstanding reputation. In fact, many people even compare it favorably to Leica optics. Made in LZOS (Lytkarinsky Optical Glass Factory), which was in Lytkarno, 100km north of Moscow. It was a subsidiary of KMZ (Krasnogorsk Mechanical Factory). The lens mount M39 groove for film 35mm range finder cameras: Fed-1, Fed-2, Fed-3, Fed-4, Fed-5, Zorki-1, Zorki-S, Zorki-2, Zorki-2s, Zorki-3, Zorki-3S, Zorki-3M, Zorki-4, Zorki-4k, Zorki-5, Zorki-6, Leica, etc… Through appropriate adapter this lens Jupiter-9 can be installed on any modern mirrorless cameras, such as Sony NEX, Samsung NX, Olympus micro 4/3 and more (Adapter not included). Serial number lens body: 7706628. This serial number dates this lens to 1977, as per published production numbers. The lens was professionally serviced and tested to top-notch standards. All features have been tested and work properly. The glass on the lens is clean, with no fungus. This unique lens has been kept in excellent condition until now. This lens is a stylish acquisition for collectors, with 100% satisfaction, and a good present or for everyday use!
