Antique Gorham Sterling Silver Cromwell Nut Dish Bon-Bon Bowl Script Mark 4780

DESCRIPTION: Beautiful antique sterling silver small nut or bon-bon dish crafted by the renowned Gorham Manufacturing Company. This piece features the highly desirable, ornate Cromwell pattern (catalog number 4780 / A4780), which was introduced around 1900.

The bowl features a stunning boat-shaped form showcasing detailed repousse floral borders, a classic scalloped rim, and intricate pierced/reticulated open latticework along the sides. The underside is clearly stamped with the early antique elegant cursive script "Gorham" mark, alongside the traditional Gorham hallmark icons (Lion, Anchor, G), "STERLING", the pattern number, and the 1900 year date code.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with beautiful crisp detailing. Showing light, age-appropriate surface wear/tarnish consistent with age. Small dent on bottom. No major dents or breaks to the delicate openwork.
