The Antique Ottoman Brass Pen Box Qalamdan Traveling Inkwell is a rare and exquisite piece that exudes elegance and history.

There is tarnish and wear to this piece(see pics). Also the inkwell lid is missing clip on one side. Item is 8" long and 1 1/4” wide. This piece appears to be made of brass but I am not sure it is solid brass(not familiar with metals). It looks brass but there are some spots that are worn that looks like there is another metal underneath. Please let me know if you need additional pictures.
