This gently used Crayola gold crayon was made by Benny and Smith Incorporated Easton PA. Please look at the label so you can see that this is from the 1970s. This crayon has patina as a result of the medals that they used for that brief period of time for their gold crayons.
The old formula used real bronze powder mixed with STEARIC acid, which turns green overtime when exposed to air the original formulation of Crayola.
