Vintage Winter 1978 New York City Ballet Playbill Program! Mikhail Baryshnikov! |
|
Up for sale is a Vintage Winter 1978-79 New York City Ballet Playbill! This is a souvenir program from the New York State Theater from their performance on January 3, 1979! The ballets were George Balanchine’s production of “Square Dance” led by principal dancers Merrill Ashley and Sean Lavery and his two-act comic ballet “Harlequinade” featuring Mikhail Baryshnikov in the title role of Harlequin and Patricia McBride as Columbine. The Playbill highlights the Winter 1978-79 Season and includes several articles, photos, and advertising for the New York City Ballet. As shown in the photos, the Playbill is in very good condition for its age with some cover wear and light soiling, including a crease on the back. The Playbill is complete and remains securely stapled from its cover to its centerfold. It has clean pages with no writing, creases, rips, or tears. This vintage New York City Ballet Playbill program would make a great addition to your collection!
Take a look at the photos to best judge its condition. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the program, pictures or shipping before bidding. Please pay within 3 days of purchase, and I’ll ship the program ASAP, usually within 2 days of payment received.
Thanks for looking!

Thank you for your business! Every item I sell is guaranteed to be as described, and I do everything possible to provide 5 STAR service. If you are satisfied, please leave 5 Star positive feedback. If you are not fully pleased, let me know if there is anything I can do to improve the transaction before leaving any feedback. Almost all items are vintage: they were purchased at estate sales/auctions, yard/garage sales or flea markets, and are sold “as found”; the history of previous ownership and storage conditions of the items is unknown, and I have no idea if a previous owner smoked or had pets. I do not accept returned items simply because you’ve changed your mind. Shipping & Handling charges are not refundable. Attention International Customers: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s Customs Office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as “gifts” since US and international government regulations prohibit such behavior.
