On Motion of D. Carpenter and Mr. Zahn,
Resolved that the Resolution proposed on the 7th instant, directing the Street Committee to have that part of Duke Street graded between Walnut and James Street, be rescinded and repealed—and that the said committee be directed to have the said street graded as follows: from the level of the south side of the stone walk at Lemon Street, so as to carry the water in that direction, and from the north side of said stone walk so as to carry the water down towards James Street, leaving the said stone walk to remain as the Summit Level.
