An appealing original-style ignition component for a Ford Model B restoration, traditional banger-powered hot rod, or collection of early Ford mechanical parts. This compact points-type distributor carries a visible oval SP casting associated with Standard Products, one of the documented suppliers of distributors for the 1932-1934 Ford Model B four-cylinder family.
The distributor retains its heavy cast-metal housing, mechanical advance components, external ball-ended adjustment linkage, two long cap-retaining clips, shaft, and part of an old colored decal. Its unrestored appearance and surviving manufacturer evidence give it useful period character, but it will require inspection and service before use.

CONDITION
The distributor is in used and unrestored vintage condition with heavy surface oxidation, grime, discoloration, and finish deterioration. The cast housing appears substantially intact. The external linkage, both cap-retaining clips, shaft, and mechanical components remain present.
A partial old colored decal survives on the housing and has intentionally not been cleaned or altered. The distributor cap and rotor are missing. Internal mechanical condition, electrical operation, shaft wear, advance operation, and exact completeness have not been tested or verified.
