Species: Unidentified
Formation: Morrison Formation
Location: Big Horn County, Wyoming
Age: 156-146 mya, Jurassic
This is an authentic dinosaur bone from the Morrison Formation of Wyoming. There is no restoration on this specimen, but there are some repaired breaks. Identifying this bone is difficult because theropod gastralia look very similar to sauropod cervical ribs. They’re both long, skinny, cylindrical bones with funky shapes, so I’m leaving the identification on this one open ended.
