A beautiful antique Victorian sterling silver miniature chair, bearing London import hallmarks for 1897.

The chair is finely modelled in an ornate Rococo style, with a pierced decorative back, engraved seat, scrolling apron and shaped cabriole legs. The import hallmarks indicate that the piece was made overseas before being imported and assayed for the British market.

Overall good antique condition with age-related surface wear and minor marks consistent with use. No obvious repairs or restoration noted.
