This is an authentic theropod tooth from the Morrison Formation of Wyoming. There is no restoration or repair on this specimen. I’m not sure exactly which species it belongs to, due to the mesial carina being worn away, but it’s most likely Allosaurus or Marshosaurus based on size and morphology. The recurvature of the tooth is more dramatic than most, and might help narrow down an ID.
