Operation and Maintenance
No Winding Holes: Unlike the mechanical versions, the dial of the battery model has no keyholes on the face.Front-Loading Casing: Changing the battery or adjusting the hands is done by unscrewing the heavy brass port-knobs on the front bezel. The entire hinged glass door swings open, allowing you to access the dial and hands immediately without taking the clock off the wall.
Battery Requirements:
C size alkaline battery. It is highly recommended to change the battery every 6 to 12 months to prevent corrosive battery acid leaks from ruining the case or movement.Setting the Time: Time is typically set via a rear control knob on the movement block inside the case. If adjusting manually from the front, gently move the minute hand clockwise only.
