A charming vintage Tri-ang Minic Kitty & Butterfly clockwork toy, featuring a moulded black plastic kitten mounted over a metal mechanical frame and complete with its butterfly attachment, winding key and original illustrated box.

The kitten has large green eyes and painted facial detail, with the yellow butterfly suspended on a fine wire in front. When wound, the clockwork mechanism operates the toy as shown in the video that will be uploaded to the listing.

The surviving original Tri-ang Minic box is an important part of the set, retaining its colourful period artwork and branding and making this a much more appealing example than a loose toy.

Good overall vintage condition with general playwear, light scratches, rubbing and small areas of surface and paint loss, particularly around the front, feet and tail area. The plastic body remains well presented and the metal frame and clockwork mechanism show normal age-related wear.

The original butterfly and wire attachment are present, together with the winding key. The clockwork mechanism is working and a video of the actual toy operating will be uploaded to the listing.

The original illustrated box has general storage wear, rubbing, light creasing and edge and corner wear.
