A colourful Glam Toys / GTP Auto'matic Garage set with three tinplate saloon cars and, importantly, its original illustrated box. Believed scarce with its original packaging, this is an appealing boxed example for a collection of British tinplate toys.

The garage features yellow walls, a red tiled-roof design, printed windows and climbing plants, with a blue up-and-over door. The three cars are finished in blue, pink-and-blue and two-tone green, with lithographed passengers, grilles, lights and individual GTP registration numbers.

The surviving box is a particular highlight: its colourful artwork shows the garage and cars in use, alongside the “Press Button” and “Garage with Three Cars” wording. Despite the wear described below, the main illustration remains clear and makes a striking display alongside the toys.

Good overall vintage condition with playwear, surface scratches, rubbing and small paint losses to the garage and cars. Some tarnishing and surface oxidation, particularly to the car bases and wheels. The colours remain bright and all three cars are included.

The original box has noticeable edge and corner wear, creasing, tears and small areas of card loss. The garage's push-button operation works but is a little hit and miss.
