Rare Early Vintage Dunhill Tinder Flintlock Table Cigar Cigarette Lighter

Vintage Dunhill Flintlock Tinder Pistol table lighter made using brass with an Oak wood handle. 

 Dunhill produced this lighter from 1936 into the 1960’s. 

The Dunhill makers mark has been embossed onto the brass reading - 
Dunhill Tinder Pistol 
Made In England 
PAT APP 12731/45 
REGD NO 794093 
The Patent applied for 12731/45 indicated this is a scarce early production model from 1934 to 1936. Later, more common mass-production versions from the 1940s and 1950s bear the official patent number 592139 instead. 

The lighter operates by pulling the trigger.
