Description
Original Steiff Aunt Lucy, EAN 662409,
produced in 2006 as a limited edition exclusively for the UK and Ireland.
Based upon Aunt Lucy from Michael Bond's
celebrated Paddington stories, this 33 cm collector's bear is made from blonde
mohair and wears her characteristic black hat, gold-coloured spectacles, richly
woven shawl and deep-red dress.
This is number 00152 of the limited edition
of 1,500, retaining its original white Steiff ear tag, gold-plated Button
in Ear and numbered certificate.
A particularly decorative Steiff character
bear with considerable appeal to collectors of Steiff, Paddington Bear and
Michael Bond memorabilia.

Condition
Very good overall collectible condition. The
mohair remains full and attractive and the bear displays extremely well, with
hat, spectacles, shawl and clothing present.
The original numbered certificate remains
attached but is torn, as shown clearly in the photographs. The
certificate is nevertheless substantially complete and readable.
The original box is not present.
