The S and T class was comprised sixteen destroyers of the Royal Navy launched in 1942–1943. They were built as two flotillas, known as the 5th and 6th Emergency Flotilla, and they served as fleet and convoy escorts in World War II.

S Class

Saumarez, Savage, Scorpion, Scourge, Serapis, Shark, Success and Swift.  The latter was the only loss during WWII.  The remainder were either sold to other nations or broken up after hostilities.

T Class

Teazer, Tenacious, Termagant, Terpischore, Troubridge, Tumult, Tuscan and Tyrian.  All survived the war and were broken up in the 1960-70s
