DescriptionUp for auction is an Antique “Underwood Elliott Fisher Co.” Typewriter Ribbon Advertising Tin! This vintage tin was made by the Underwood Elliott Fisher Company most likely in the late-1920s or 1930s! This is a rare typewriter ribbon tin with metal top and bottom sections for Elliott Fisher typewriters. The tin has a wonderful Art Deco design primarily in gold, silver, black and white with “Underwood Elliott Fisher Co.” on its lid. The bottom is stamped “Elliott Fisher”, “A874671”, “18 Yds.”, and “Blk. & Red Rec.” in black. The tin measures about 2½” diameter x ⅞” tall. As shown in the photos, the tin is in very good condition for its age with nice bright colors and sharp lithography. There are some small marks, light scuffs or scratches, and a light ding or dent typical for a container this old. The bottom has some soiling including a little associated color loss. The top and bottom fit together well, and its interior is still clean as shown. This rare vintage Underwood Elliott Fisher typewriter ribbon advertising tin would make a great addition to your collection!
