Condition : Used - shop-graded B+ with normal marks of use; neck adjusted almost straight, no buzzing or dead notes at standard tuning

Fender USA American Vintage '52 Telecaster from 1998, in black, and modified by a previous owner into a genuinely different-sounding instrument.

Modifications, as listed by the selling shop:
• Neck pickup: Seymour Duncan SP-90-1n (a P-90, in place of the standard Tele neck pickup)
• Bridge pickup: Van Zandt Tele bridge
• Bridge changed to a 6-saddle modern type
• Refretted with medium jumbo wire
• Bone nut (approx. 42 mm) fitted
• The body has been chambered and given a weather-check aged finish

Measured condition at the shop:
• Frets: approx. 70% remaining
• Neck: adjusted almost dead straight; truss rod has room in both directions
• Action at the 12th fret: approx. 1.7 mm treble / 1.8 mm bass
• Weight: approx. 4.22 kg
• No buzzing or choked notes at standard tuning

Specification: ash body, maple neck with a U shape and a 21-fret maple fingerboard (184R radius), Kluson-type tuners, 3-way selector, one volume and one tone, 25.5" scale. Serial V111885.

The original Fender hard case is included. There are scratches from use and some dulling of the metal parts.

The shop notes that its photographs are taken under bright lighting, so the darker photographs are the more accurate guide to the actual colour.
