Explore watercolor painting with BAOHONG Academy paper, made from 100% cotton in a natural white, acid-free finish. Each block contains 20 sheets and is glued on all four sides to help hold the paper in place while you paint.

Choose your preferred size, paper weight and surface from the variation menus. Suitable for watercolor practice, classroom projects, color studies, gouache and pen-and-wash artwork.

Choose Your Surface

Cold Pressed (CP): A medium-textured surface for general watercolor painting, washes and everyday practice.

Hot Pressed (HP): A smoother surface for fine brushwork, detailed illustrations and pen-and-wash work.

Rough: A more pronounced texture for expressive brushwork, landscapes and dry-brush effects. Available in 300 gsm only.

Choose Your Paper Weight

200 gsm: A lighter option for sketches, practice and lighter washes.

300 gsm: A heavier option for wetter painting techniques and layered washes.

• 260 x 180 mm — approximately 10.2 x 7.1 inches

• 380 x 260 mm — approximately 15.0 x 10.2 inches

• 530 x 380 mm — approximately 20.9 x 15.0 inches

Metric dimensions are the reference measurements. Inch conversions are approximate. The 530 x 380 mm size is available in 300 gsm only.

Using the Block

Paint on the top sheet while it remains attached to the block. Once your painting is fully dry, locate the unglued opening and gently separate the sheet with a palette knife or paper separator.
