Tone & Electronics

The SE Paul’s Guitar is equipped with PRS TCI “S” treble and bass pickups, designed to deliver a clear, vintage-inspired voice with impressive versatility.

Two mini-toggle switches allow the treble and bass humbuckers to be coil-split independently, providing true single-coil tones. This gives you a wide range of sounds — from full, powerful humbucking tones to the clarity and character of single-coil operation. The combination of the two mini-toggles and the 3-way pickup selector provides eight possible pickup configurations.

PRS Stoptail with Brass Inserts

The PRS stoptail bridge features brass inserts and brass studs, a design carried over from the Core Paul’s Guitar and intended to take advantage of the resonant properties of brass.

Vintage-Style Tuners

The guitar features PRS vintage-style tuners, complementing the classic appearance of the Paul’s Guitar while contributing to the instrument's resonance and tuning stability.
