When upgrading from halogen-equipped (H4) Swift models—such as the early-generation versions—to OEM projector-style HID headlights, direct installation is not possible due to differences in connector shapes and control systems.
By installing this product between the vehicle's OEM connectors and the OEM HID headlights, you can complete the installation without any vehicle modifications.
Swift HID headlights feature bi-xenon projectors, which differ in mechanism and structure from halogen setups. Consequently, simply connecting the wires might prevent high-beam switching or cause the HID lights to fail when switching modes. This product includes a bi-xenon conversion unit, allowing you to install the headlights while adopting the same control system found in factory-equipped HID models.
