Offered here is an authentic early 20th century maritime pulley block used on a Nova Scotia dory (often spelled “dorey”).

• Large solid wood double sheave block
• Heavy forged iron crank-style arm
• Old rope reinforcement at joint
• Strong original patina throughout
• Approx. 16" overall length (see ruler photos)
• Sheave diameter approx. 5–6"

These were commonly used on working fishing dories along the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia in the early 1900s. A fantastic piece of East Coast maritime history.

Perfect for:

• Nautical décor
• Maritime collectors
• Coastal cottage display
• Boat restoration reference
• Man cave / nautical theme space

This is a genuine working-era piece — not a modern reproduction.
