Vintage Cohasset Colonials by Hagerty Shaker-style wooden step stool with a tall balancing handle. Features handsome exposed dovetail joints, pegged construction, an arched base and the original Cohasset Hagerty Colonial maker’s stamp.

The scattered dark speckles are part of the intentionally antiqued finish—not stains or damage. Likely dates from the mid-20th century, approximately the 1960s–1970s.

Approximate measurements:

• 33–34 inches tall overall

• Base approximately 12 inches wide and 7 inches deep

• Step approximately 9 inches high

Condition: Good vintage condition with normal surface wear. There is a visible crack in the rear side/leg area that has been glued and repaired. There is also a small chip underneath the rear curved section. Both areas are shown clearly in the photographs. The stool remains assembled, but it has not been weight-tested and is offered primarily for decorative use or restoration.

Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.

This item is a genuine vintage Cohasset Colonials by Hagerty piece, but the company manufactured reproductions of earlier Shaker and Colonial furniture. So it is:

Original Cohasset product—but a reproduction of an antique Colonial/Shaker design.

Please look at pictures carefully.
