Thanks for checking out our little store! This one's for the vintage textbook collectors, math teachers, and anyone who gets a kick out of mid-century schoolbooks with a little history tucked inside the covers.
This is "Algebra, Book One" by A. M. Welchons and W. R. Krickenberger, published by Ginn and Company. It's a substantial classic secondary-school algebra text running past 550 pages, taking the reader from basic literal numbers and equations all the way through quadratics and even a numerical trigonometry appendix with tables of natural functions. The teal cloth cover with its embossed "x" pattern and the "Book One" script on the spine give it that unmistakable old-schoolhouse look, and the front pastedown carries a little bit of provenance too, with several generations of student signatures and dates penciled and inked inside the cover.

Please look closely at the photos. We do our best to show as many details as possible.
NOTE: Sometimes the color can be a little different in the photos than the actual item. We aren't professional photographers and sometimes our iphone just changes the colors for no reason and we can't figure out how to fix it.
